We have been a Microsoft Certified Partner since we began our business. The high quality and competence of our developers, a stimulating working environment augmented by a western style management and the on line Web based project control and management system we are using, offer a very competitive solution to western companies willing to outsource their software development projects. Establishing standards and procedures for software development is critical, since these provide the framework from which the software evolves. Software Quality Assurance includes the process of assuring that standards and procedures are established and are followed throughout the software system development lifecycle. We have a Quality Assurance Policy. Many organizations, unfortunately, equate quality with software that doesn't crash. Our approach is to develop, maintain and optimize our process where objectives are clearly stated, documented, well understood and followed through for the entire development process.

We are currently ISO 9001/9000-3 certified. Our VEMSTM (Virtual Enterprise Management SystemTM) facilitates a quality control system that is compliant with ISO 9001/9000-3 and CMM level 4 standards.

CMM for Software Developers

The Capability Maturity Model for Software is organized into five maturity levels. They are:

Level 1: Initial. Ad hoc, chaotic software process with few defined processes. Individual efforts and heroic rule of the day.

Level 2: Repeatable. Basic project management processes track costs, schedules and functionality with disciplines instilled to repeat earlier successes for similar applications. Basic project management controls are met with disciplines and/or tools for Requirements Management, Software Project Planning, Software Project Tracking and Oversight, Software Subcontract Management, Software Quality Assurance and Software Configuration Management.

Level 3: Defined. An Integrated, standard software process exists for the organization and includes the software processes for both management and engineering. Every project employs an approved, tailored version of the standard process for new development as well as maintenance activities. Effective software engineering and management processes are institutionalized across all projects using tools and/or disciplines for Organization Process Focus, Organization Process Definition, Training Program, Integrated Software Management, Software Product Engineering, Intergroup Coordination and Peer Reviews.

Level 4: Managed. Quantification is understood and controlled through the measurements of the process and product quality. Tools and/or disciplines in this level include Quantitative Process Management and Software Quality Management.

Level 5: Optimizing. Feedback and continuous process improvement from the process for continued enhancement. Includes tools and/or disciplines for Defect Prevention, Technology Change Management and Process Change Management.

The Statement of Quality Assurance Policy

Our quality assurance policy provides the approach to organizing and managing all company activities, to ensure CornerSoft Technologies capability to deliver products and services according to specifications. CornerSoft Technologies quality assurance strategy in its core activity - "Software Design & Development, including Research and Consulting, Documentation and Training, Maintenance and Customer Support" - is based on the development, implementation and maintenance of a quality system according to SR EN ISO 9001 and SR ISO 9000-3 standards and it includes:

  • Planning - identifying all parameters that are relevant to all company activities and the methods of conducting these activities;
  • Control - monitoring specific project results to determine if they comply with the quality standards and identifying ways to eliminate causes of unsatisfactory performance;
  • Quality assurance - evaluating a project's overall performance on a regular basis to provide confidence that the project will satisfy the relevant quality standards;
  • Staff training and motivation needed to implement a quality system throughout the organization;
  • Building of the business relationship based on mutual trust ensured by quality criteria fulfillment.

CornerSoft Technologies management believes that the application of a quality system can be ensured only through the contribution of each member of our organization.
