We are currently ISO 9001/9000-3 certified. Our VEMSTM
(Virtual Enterprise Management SystemTM)
facilitates a quality control system that is compliant with ISO 9001/9000-3
and CMM level 4 standards.
CMM
for Software Developers
The Capability Maturity Model for Software is organized into five maturity
levels. They are:
Level
1: Initial. Ad hoc, chaotic software process with few defined processes.
Individual efforts and heroic rule of the day.
Level
2: Repeatable. Basic project management processes track costs, schedules and functionality with disciplines instilled to repeat earlier successes for similar applications. Basic
project management controls are met with disciplines and/or tools for
Requirements Management, Software Project Planning, Software Project
Tracking and Oversight, Software Subcontract Management, Software Quality
Assurance and Software Configuration Management.
Level
3: Defined. An Integrated, standard software process exists for
the organization and includes the software processes for both management
and engineering. Every project employs an approved, tailored version
of the standard process for new development as well as maintenance activities.
Effective software engineering and management processes are institutionalized
across all projects using tools and/or disciplines for Organization
Process Focus, Organization Process Definition, Training Program, Integrated
Software Management, Software Product Engineering, Intergroup Coordination
and Peer Reviews.
Level
4: Managed. Quantification is understood and controlled through
the measurements of the process and product quality. Tools and/or disciplines
in this level include Quantitative Process Management and Software Quality
Management.
Level
5: Optimizing. Feedback and continuous process improvement from
the process for continued enhancement. Includes tools and/or disciplines
for Defect Prevention, Technology Change Management and Process Change
Management.
